KEYMACRO is a simple, yet powerful macro recording/creation tool. It’s designed to replace the ancient but obsolescent cut and paste technique for recording sequence of key strokes. The keys you want to record are predefined in the program. Key presses can then be captured and stored for use later in an editing session. This is useful if you want to record a long sequence of key presses, without having to deal with manual recording/editing.
Keymacro is designed to capture the Windows 7 keybord layout and stores the button’s state as well as any given input text/character. All keypresses for a given button is represented as a single item.
Windows 7 – 64 bit and 32 bit
Keybord layout:
Traditional UK layout, Russian, German, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Turkish, Arabic, European, French, Spanish, Portugese, Italian
Input text:
Multi-byte characters, UTF8, Unicode, Mac (UCS-2)
Raw input text:
Raw text can be captured as typed, copied/pasted or pasted in a document
Macro files:
These can be saved to a system folder

Notes for End-Users

To update your CKEditor keymacro, simply follow the instruction below, the software will make itself available for installation in the menu.

Run the software and click on “File” – “Import Macro”

The software will walk you through a simple wizard to guide you through the import process. It supports both Windows and Mac operating systems.

Currently, the software only supports making macros for the Windows Windows keybord layout. It supports most of the above keybord layouts except for Simplified Chinese, Japanese and Arabic. It has a limited support for MacOS. Please bear in mind that due to the limitations of the software, only 5-6 letter alphabets and accents are supported in the software.

It requires a professional license, and will work on a PC with not less than 2GB RAM.

1 – Start the application, click on the “+” symbol in the top right corner to open the configuration window.
2 – Double-click on the device to be managed.
3 – Click on “Configure”.
4 – Choose if you want to manage all the properties of the device or just some of them.
5 – In the main window you will have a list of the connected devices that can be managed. The list can be displayed, hidden or sorted by any column.
6 – Configure the properties of the selected device.
7 – In the “Device Properties” window you will see the values of the selected device. You can also change the values.
8 – In the “Device Settings” window you will see a list of the configuration options, where you can specify settings for the selected device.
9 – Click on “Save” to save the changes.
10 – Click on “Apply” to apply the changes.
11 – Click on “Cancel” to cancel the changes.

NOTE: When working with devices under Windows, only one device can be connected at a time. If another device is connected, please disconnect it first.


ECOM ORCA allows the selection of the preferred configuration. It will search for all devices connected to the system and, for each one, it will compare their preferred configuration with the current one and, if a difference is found, it will select the new preferred one.

You can select from different profile types:
– In General: If selected, the preferred configuration will be set as the default one.
– In Specific: If selected, the preferred configuration will be set only for the devices of the selected profile.
– Default: If selected, the preferred configuration will be set as the default one for all the devices.

In addition, you can define different devices within the selected profile.

– IFDEF MULTIPLE DEVICE: If selected, the devices will be checked only when the value of the profile (multiple devices) is selected.
– IFEXIST MULTIPLE DEVICE: If selected, the devices will be checked when the value of the profile (multiple devices) is selected but only if one of the devices has already been selected.
